Today has been a good food day so far. I had a banana, strawberry, kiwi and yogurt smoothie for breakfast. And for lunch I had oven baked fish with broccoli and cauliflower.
Just got back from my run/walk. Managed to do 5k today at a slightly better timing compared to 2 days ago. A tiny tiny victory for me. But I had macdonalds for lunch, so I guess overall I’m still not doing very well. I hope to do at least another 3 more runs this week and improve on my timing. Oh, and also do more pilates or stretching exercises.
Smoothie made with 2 golden kiwis and non fat strawberry yogurt and 1tbsp of benefiber. I think I’m starting to like the idea of making smoothies, it’s an easy and convenient way to ensure the daily fruit and fiber intake.
Restart.
It’s been a long time since I posted anything. The lifestyle I had for the past 1 month hasn’t been anything close to being healthy or active, and I am extremely guilty about it. Being at home and not having any gym access is really hard for me to keep up with exercising and eating healthy, and not to mention all the yummy food temptations around me. It was day after day of procrastinations, and excuses, and soon days became weeks, and eventually it was a month.
So from today onwards, I am going to get back on the healthy lifestyle bandwagon and start exercising again. And it also helps that I just got my new Nike Lunarglide and Nike+ device. I clocked a 5.18km run/walk (about 320 calories) today which isn’t too shabby considering I haven’t been exercising for a really long time.
